In collaboration with Nio, an electric automobile company based in China, I explored ways in which post industrial materials from the car manufacturing process can be reused to create products that allow the users of electric cars to enjoy the natural environment they are helping to protect.
I designed a Hammock, Canopy and Outdoor Blanket made from Airbag and Seatbelt post-industrial waste that directly connects to the car, allowing the user to quickly transform their car into a temporary campsite, enhancing the enjoyment of the natural environment while utilizing sustainable design.
